Standardbred mare 15.3 hh, 16 years old. From the first, Julie felt this one was especially easy and good minded. She doesn't drag her rider to the gate or the door, stands easily in the cross ties, is willing under saddle and is an all around good egg. Very sensible.
QH gelding, 10 years old, 15.2 hh. Sound, no vices. Goes English well, very good 4H prospect.
Black mare, steady, steady, steady! 16 - 18 years old, 14.3 hh. Shes a solid riding horse. Julie used her to ride around and look at other horses at the feedlot. Stands quietly, no spook, very good minded. Don't miss out on this good mare.
Uniquely branded Standardbred mare with one blue eye and four white socks. Alexis has a bit of an udder so she has probably been raising babies and not done much work recently. She is broke to ride, and does nothing bad or dangerous, she's just rusty and will be getting a tune up while at CHC and preparing to transition into her forever home.
GOING HOME! This sweet dun paint mare is 18 years old, 15 hh, quiet and gentle. She will be looking for a lighter riding home. Maybe with younger riders to show them the ropes. No vices, no bad habits, good ground manners, gets along well with other horses and likes people. Kid and dog friendly! This pretty mare is a saint. She does have arthritis in her knees and will need to be on previcox and a joint supplement to keep her comfortable. Watch her video working the trail obstacles below!
Thoroughbred mare, bright red, sporty and sweet! 4 - 5 years old, 16 hh, sound, no vices, doing well in her evaluation under saddle.
AQHA mare, 15.1 hh, 14 years old, Stevie is one of the horses that needed to utilize the safety net of coming back to CHC after her owner had to change jobs. Stevie is a pretty sorrel mare that is broke to ride. She has no stall vices, good on the trials, nice ground manners. Best suited for short trail rides, rides around the farm or the backyard horse enthusiast.
Bay TB mare, 16.1 hh, 7 years old. Super classy bay with a little chrome (her nickname is Porsche) and she is lovely under saddle. Good minded, sound, no vices. Jockey Club registered as Norwegian Lady. Watch her video below.
Black gaited gelding 15.3 hh, 17 - 19 yrs old. This gelding rides great on trails. Tall, dark, and handsome! Gambler has no stall vices. He gets along well with other horses and is quiet to saddle and bridle. Make Gambler your next glide ride!
Handsome bay standardbred gelding, 12 years old, 15.1 hh. Easy under saddle, sound. Rides out great, not spooky, no stall vices, good for the farrier
