We bring communities and animal welfare partners together to create a world where every animal is treated with kindness, dignity, and respect.

Rather than duplicating existing services, we strengthen what’s already working. We connect people and animals to trusted resources, fill critical gaps where support is missing, and build the community capacity needed to create lasting change. Through partnerships, collaboration, and shared problem‑solving, we help address the challenges that affect both animals and the neighborhoods they call home.

Our work spans the diverse needs of animals and communities—from supporting free‑roaming cats to helping divert horses from slaughter pipelines. Since our founding in 2017, our mission has remained clear: to build coalitions and foster a culture where compassion for animals is the community standard.

Guided by a dedicated Board of advocates, APN is developing a powerful communication and resource network that unites rescue groups, community organizations, municipal agencies, and passionate individuals. This growing network serves as the connective thread across all these groups—sharing best practices, amplifying ideas, and strengthening the resources needed to protect animals and support the people who care for them.
